Chemical formula: Ca(NO3)2

Calcium nitrate, due to its chemical properties, is widely used in various industries. In the construction industry it is used as an additive in concrete, which accelerates the hardening, increase the strength characteristics, and slows down corrosive processes rebar. In the oil and gas sector, thanks to its excellent solubility in water and its ability to create an abnormal density in multicomponent brines calcium nitrate used as a component fluids for killing wells during the planning and renovation. Furthermore, it is hardening accelerator and a corrosion inhibitor in cement slurries.
